Liz Whitman is the Event Coordinator at 37 Media & Marketing Group. She has over 14 years of experience leading event activations, strategic communications and public affairs campaigns.

She worked at a PR agency for 12 years developing and implementing award-winning, results-oriented media relations, public affairs campaigns, and events for her clients across multiple industries, including healthcare, economic development, transportation, travel, lifestyle, non-profits, and advocacy organizations. A highlight of her career was spending three years assisting in the development and execution of a communications strategy for the 2019 Commemoration, American Evolution, a campaign commemorating the 400th year anniversary of several pivotal historical events in 1619. She also worked with Business Iceland to coordinate media for and drive attendance to the Taste of Iceland festivals in cities across the country.

Liz holds a bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in writing from Christopher Newport University. She resides in Loudoun County, Virginia with her girls – daughter, Hadley, beagle, Rosie, and tabby calico cat, Ariel.
