Annie was born and raised on a horse farm in Pensacola, Florida.  She attended The Savannah College of Art and Design on a basketball scholarship and moved to Northern Virginia soon after graduating.  She taught art in the public school system for 18 years while maintaining a painting and graphic design career on the side. She is now focusing full-time on graphic design and supporting her community through promoting small, locally owned businesses.

Annie currently lives in Amissville with her husband Mark, their two children Markie and Gloria, and two sweet, old dogs Dixie and Daisy.  She enjoys traveling with her family, watching her kids play sports, hiking in the Shenandoah National Park, and visiting local wineries with her husband.
